Pool Table by Piega

This is something fresh and different, and i just had to download it! Originalty: 10 We dont have many objects to spice up a home level, and certainly no other pool tables. This is a definite full marker! Quality: 10 The mesh is well designed and textured with no holes! Also its a nice little twist that the balls and cue come separately so yo can decide where they go on the pool table. I like little things like that! Useable: 8 Well, lara's hardly going to wander across a pool table in the middle of a deep sea dive / egyptian tomb / arctic wasteland but for home levels certainly this is a must! All adventurers have to unwind somehow... Textures: 9 I loved the table legs, the shining effect was just the right strength to give them that real metallic look. The wood textures round the edge were fine, could possibly be a little more detailed but they still look nice. All pool tables look a bit different to the next, so whos to care? The cue itself was really well textured, it would have been so easy just to colour it all browny beige or something but you didn't take the easy way out and it looks great. The only reason i didnt give a full 10 was for the pool green. That was the only thing i would change about the texturing, the plain texture could be a little detailed to make it look sorta felty like pool tables do. Meshes: 10 I think the meshes are the best part of this object. Well shaped, accuratley formed, and best of all hole free. ^Phew i wrote quite alot! This is a really really nice object, and i cant say how good this looks in a home. Nice one Piega! Edited by MaskedRaider

I saw this object today and I just had to test it! I think it looks great! :D Originality: I've not seen anyone make a pool table for the TRLE before. Useablity: This object can be used in a home level or a bar, or anything else you can imagine up that fits your level. Textures: The textures are good, the wood is simple but does the job well. I'd love to see the green felt have a few tiny details here and there instead of a solid color, usually pool tables are tiny bit scuffed up. But it does save texture space in your WAD as it is. Meshes: The mesh is perfectly crafted. As already mentioned, I love that you can choose to have objects on it or not. I would, however, like to see it a tiny bit smaller. This is just nitpicking, but most pool tables are low enough that you have to bend over to line up the stick with the cue ball. Another tiny little thing is that you can walk through the table. It just needs a collision box, always easy to forget. Overall, this object is lovely. I can definitely see it being used in a level. Every object you make is great! I can't wait to see more :D

How can I be so ignorant to not post a comment on your big review. Thanks :) I see that it is far from perfect and I need to update this object in some time.
