Gargoyle Statue by Piega

Well when I first saw this item on the home page under new items I somehow could automatically tell Piega made it... This wad contains One Gargoyle and two Pedestals. Originality-10/10 Well this is the 1nd gargoyle on the search engine ,but this one is a lot better and has alot more details and plus he made pedestals for it! Quality-10/10 All the Meshes were wonderful and were textured beautifully! I dont know how you do it! Usability-9/10 Well Not usabile everywhere maybe in spooky mansion levels. Also Graveyards? Or any place with some sort of stoney wall. Adding this to it makes the wall alot let boring! Custom Textures-10/10 This whole wad contains 28 textures and they were all put together perfectly to match each other. The textures were very detailed as well. I really love the textures used on the gargoyle! Custom Meshes-10/10 Wow! You musthave spent along time working on the meshes! The gargoyle has a very detailed mesh like its beak and its curved toes and its curved wings! The pedestal meshes were also very nice and something new... Like the 1st pedestal that one is just awesome, and so is the tall second one! Custom Animations-None Overall this object is great just like piega's other objects and levels! Wow! This is very cool! :D Original: We've had at least one Gargoyle Statue before, but they both have diffrent styles. This one almost has a bit of TR5 style somehow, nothing to downrate of course. It just reminded me of TR5 style and it would more than likly look great with other TR5 objects. Quality: Perfect! If any object gets a full ten, it is this one. There are no holes or glitches of any kind. The meshes and textures are an ace job all the way. :) Useable: Graveyards, Spooky levels, and it'd look cool on top of a clock tower (Or whatever they are called?). It'd work with many levels and diffrent typed of levels. It will work really quite well with TR5 and mostly TR6 textures. I think it'd fit in those levels fairly well, mostly the graveyard, but sometimes the high quality of the object will make the level look bad. lol! Custom textures: The textures are amazing, for both the statue and the stand it comes with. And it takes up only a half of a page!!! o.0 For such wonderful textures I was expecting at least one full page, wow, very cool. ;) Custom meshes: Perfect!! The shape is amazing, I did'nt think objects in the LE could looks so could. You continue to amaze me! :D -- I love this object so much I want to use it, but I don't know of a place it'd fit it into. :)

Well...the other reviews talk for themselves. The gargoyle is quite huge so don't even think of laying it in a small room ;) The pedestals are very nice and have a fine shape, fine textures. The gargoyle looks like an eagle or something like that. Due to the textures it fits mostly levels with a gothic ambiance, so churches, graveyards, old castles or manors, but why not also libraries, museums, operas..anything that has a baroque shape. The TOD (tip of the day, heh): if you change the textures it fits any archaeo level (yes, even egyptian!). Anyway I'm using it too!

Original: Very original to create a bird gargoyle. It's the first gargoyle in bird-design! Quality: No bugs, no holes, no bad placed or bad rotated textures. Useable: Very useable in tombs, graveyards or gothic-styled levels. Custom textures: The self-made textures look very good and the fits well with the other textures. Custom meshes: Very high detailed and completely bug-free. Good work!
