[edit] Moving flame and flash
With 2 in the OCB, the FLAME_EMITTER2 turns into a small, not-deadly moving flame. The flame will move forward in the direction the NULL-Mesh is pointing. It will go up and down slopes. On contact with water, it will create a large flash and it will disappear. When the NULL-mesh is placed above water, only the flash will appear and no flame. Triggering the object again after the flash will cause it to continue moving. If you are just using the flash, make sure you use a one shot trigger, and in any case make sure Lara cannot keep standing on the trigger.
The moving flame will not cause the water (or oil as in the original) to burn, that had to be done with timed triggers.
[edit] Flipmap
The flame emitter 2 object can also be used to trigger flipmaps. This is done by putting a negative OCB value into the object. The object must be placed in the same room where the flipmap is, and must also contain the same number as the flipmap id in the OCB (but then negative). When the flame_emitter2 is triggered, it will activate the flipmap. This is used in combination with flipmaps that require 1 or more Code Bits pressed in the OCB menu, since with a normal FLIPMAP there is no OCB menu. The SCALES puzzle in Temple of Horus used this for this reason, as well as the LIGHTNING CONDUCTOR puzzle in Street Bazaar.
However, when you are using a switch, flipping back the switch does not flip to room back to the original room. With a regular FLIPMAP trigger this does work. A better solution for the missing OCB menu is to pre-trigger the FLIPMAP with the OCB codes you normally enable in the OCB menu before the puzzle.
