Hi all!

I was just wondering if it wouldn't be a good idea to make a review about the FliEffects codes.
Core gave some of them in the pdf file, there are few others to test!
For example, on a french forum I saw about two flipeffects that are not in the edmanpdf file...
code 12: Disables Lara to use guns
Code 9 : Re-Unables Lara to use guns.
I noticed a few problems with the FlipEffect 12 using flares and stuffs like that.
I know i wrote others but I lost my pieces of paper! Stupid of me!
Is there anyone having interesting FlipEffects except of the #2, 4, 7, 10, 11, 28, 30 and 31?

I'm sure there are plenty of Flip Effects to discover, and I think it would be a good idea to make a topic where people could submit the Flip Effects they find.

Well these are the most usefull ones not in the manual:

12 disable guns (can't be used anymore)
13 enable guns
44 make baddy with back to lara notice her and shoot
46 kill all enemies


There are more in animation editor, animcommand effect list, but these mostly apply to animations. Not very usefull having Lara get out a crowbar in the middle of a level.

Ok, thanks Michiel, but why can't we use flipeffect 12? Because I am using it twice in my game.

I was just wondering, will the weapons still be in your inventory when you use FlipEffect 12? And if they are, will it be possible to use flares?

Yes, the guns will be in the inventory.
There's a bug when using flares... that what I meant in my first message...

Can someone explain flipeffect 44 a bit further? Does it work with AI_...? I'd like to know more 'bout it, since it seems quite useful to me.
I don't know what to say here, perhaps the things I said above here are a little more useful???

we should create a thread about normal flipeffects and custom flipeffects:
ONLY_IN_WATER
DEC_HP 1
STOP
For Example to use with TREP, this would be extreamly useful to alot of people im sure

Rebuilding TR3!!
