Why do you even promise on a demo if you get this? When someone would post a level, they would need Beta Testers (Prefferably other builders, particularly skilled ones.) to help, broken switch or not. Just place the trigger on the floor tile and explain why it is not working. Then try some alternatives to the problem like the pushblocks I suggested (though it failed  ) or deleting the room and rebuilding it. Try to even place the switch in a different room.
If you need beta testers you can give me a PM cause I did beta test a couple Btb 2010 levels and Ortegas991's Realms of Destiny and The Angel Within games. I can also send you a list of other beta testers if you want. 
btw, where is that trailer you mentioned on TRF? (heh heh, I'm really in the mood for looking at a new level.)
