When you make a flipmap, how am I to trigger it. As, it doesn't appear in the trigger window, stays to the previous object selected. I tried to manually select flipmap in the trigger window but that didn't work. -Signature hacked by ChatBot- |

From Uvavoo's tutorial...

You enter the number of your flipmap in the little box next to the 'F' under the plan view window

Does flipmap work with Flame Emitter. Here is an image of the room, http://img252.imageshack.us/my.php?image=larashome1bl1.png. What I have done is that the flames activate when she enters the room, but she can't cross because of the flames, (they will set her on fire). I have somewhere else made a switch to activate the flipmap, I wont tell you where because it might spoil it, (If I decide to post the level).
However when she activates the lever it doesn't activate the flipmap, I inputted in the trigger window 1, as next to the F was 1. -Signature hacked by ChatBot- |

Just make an ordinary trigger that Lara can stand on.
Place it somewhere in the room so you can check whether it activates the flipmap. Here's a thought... You didn't place the trigger for the flipmap in the flipped room did you? Aza I AM NOT A NUMBER! Nope I placed it in a completely different room, and nope just making it as a normal trigger doesn't work either. -Signature hacked by ChatBot- |

The settings all look right.
Are you actually pressing the pink trigger button after setting the trigger? A basic mistake which I don't think you would make Don't know if I can help you any further without having the project files. Anyone else? Aza I AM NOT A NUMBER! I HAVE A NAME! I AM NOT A NUMBER!! No I am pressing the pink trigger button, do I have to do any OCB settings with th Flame Emitters or anything?
One more thing I forgot to ask do you use flipmaps to make doors close, for example when Lara pushes a switch the doors open, when she pushes it again it doesn't close. Or Is this some animation or OCB setting? -Signature hacked by ChatBot- |

Don't worry I found another way of deactivating them. By going into the OCB menu, on the flame emitters, and you know where the 1-5 buttons are I pressed them all in, which of course meant that they will activate as soon as I start the level. Then I triggered them so they reversed, and went off instead. You can time them as well. Found out on http://www.skribblerz.com/tuts/timedflamestut.htm -Signature hacked by ChatBot- |
