Registrated Member 369 posts	Hi. After the recent barrage of related looking objects; such as Harpys; (not that they are bad )I have an idea. Please hear me out . My idea is a sort of club; or a commitee; i'm not sure what to call it that makes together newer and better objects. Anyone can join. In my mind; there is a lot of things no-one has ever done as a object (or hasn't done recently). These are: Mining related objects. Industry objects (not VCI). Space objects in general Technological objects (update the VCI ones; they are nearly 7 years old) New high poly human enemies; there's just lots of conversions from other games. Maybe some new fresh ideas. Newer doors/puzzle items. TREP is a wonderful tihng... ================= Thats all i've got so far. Am I getting way over myself? Is this a bad idea. i want your thoughts. Maybe; if this idea works; level builders can request objects that they want and one of the participants (or many) could pick up on the ideas. There is a lot of talent around the site. OK, this is like 4th post, so this'll be my thing i'm doing. This space aint taken. ========== Well I am making my TR:A pole hop (yes, your not dreaming, I did do it before) again. Last time i did it with the swing pole, but she jumped on the mid-air part becuase the pole goes laterally. But now, for those who want a tightrope in their level, I'm sorry. Im using the tightrope as my basis, i only have to change six animations, thats the forward left foot, forward right foot, stop right foot, stop left foot, walm on, walk off. The rest are going to be the same. * So she jumps onto first pole, stays there and she may wobble, jumps next and reaches other side. Is it going to work you think??? Next in planning is wall running. This is going to be harder. But ... i have an idea. No sprite changes. One thing... you cannot have a rope in a room with walls on right and left that is one square wide. Well, If Lara grabs a rope and there is a wall on the left or right (not both) she will stick her legs out to touch the wall due to a state-change. Then she can run on the wall. If there is no wall on either side, there will be no state-change, so you can swing on the rope. This will be definatly harder! Now you see why i said not to have a rope in a room with walls on right and left that is one square wide. The two state changes and the middle animation will fight against each other cuasing the game to crash. Registrated Member 303 posts	I will be happy doing a bit of meshwork from time to time, but it will not be very often as i am working on my own outfit project and also have little time anyway due to GCSE exams at school - Biology, Chemistry and Phsyics next week - yey! So i'm gonig to put the LE about 5th on my list of things (after school, theatre school, swimming, and reading!) But i'll do what i can when i can if you see what i mean

Basicly; the point of this pot is to show you how I personally would like this to be set up (in the forums). Every member will commumnicate by MSN. This is a must so that sharing files is easy. I would like each participant to have 1 main post that they use. They can edit it how much they like; and it can be really long (like mine usually are.) This is the place for the participants to tell what they are working on; any technical details (TREP functions; Poly's ect). Feel free (don't tell admin...bandwidth lol) to post small pics of the objects; ask others for their opinion ect. For item requests; there is a process I think is logical. ================ Step 1 ================ Post requests on this forum ================ Step 2 ================ Wait ================ Step 3 ================ I will discuss; and we will all vote for who wants to do the item. ================ Step 4 ================ You will get a PM from the member taking on your object. ================ Step 5 ================ Wait. Check back on this forum for updates. ================ Step 6 ================ Your item is done. The author can have choose to upload it. They don't have to. After that I'm planing to reconstruct proportions and make it realistic (same thing that Po Yu have done ages ago). Next outfit will be Midnight Fashion.

Its not that exploring with objects is bad, but you don't necessarily have to release 1000 hideous harpy's and bizarre outfits. They simply aren't going to be used. Well those are my thoughts.
